~first day of a new life~ « Thread Started on Jul 10, 2008, 8:12am »
David forgot to set his alarm clock last night so he was running a little late as he jumped into his car and started to drive to school. HE found a parking space in the back and quickly started to walk up to the school. He still needed to go to the office to get his schedule. He pulled open the door that said MAIN OFFICE in big blocky letters and walked inside. "Hello, Im new and i need my schedule." he said as he walked to the front counter. "Your name is?" said the Secretary. "David Moore." She typed on her keyboard and quickly printed his schedule to the printer next to him. "Thanks." he said as he walked out the door and to his first class. When he opened the door, he could tell he had just interrupted a lecture. "the teacher walked up to him and said, "You must be David." she gestured me over to the center of the class so everyone could get a look at me. Much like a puppy before it is bought, all eyes were on me and I could tell I was already being measured, sized up, and scrutinized. "Well go ahead and take a seat."

Ah-hah! Finally a new kid! Alicia looked him over, wondering about him, looking to see what he was wearing, his posture, his whole outward disposistion. He was not from around here, it seemed, and he was definatley new. Because everyone at this school knew everyone and everything about everyone at Octavion Country High School. It was just part of the schools... spark? Whatever. Anyway, Alicia watched carefully as the guy, know known to everyone as "David Moore" When he was told to find a seat, she looked directly at him, then motioned for him to join her at the empty desk next to her. She had to be the first person to know everything about him. It was her duty as the Gossip Queen to know.

David look around the class for an open seat, and saw a girl motioning to a seat next to her. David walked down the row to the seat on the left of her. He sat down and set his backpack on the floor. "Thanks," he said as he pulled out a pen, "I'm David.. and you are?" He looked at her, and automatically noticed her amazing smile.

"Alicia Rivera." She automatically replied in a hushed voice, not wanting to have the entire class or the stupid teacher hear her conversation with this guy. Alicia leaned into him, putting her elbow on her desk. "It's nice to meet you. So, where are you from?" She looked up towards the front of the room. Yup, they were safe for about a million years, because the teacher was copying something from a long piece of paper and transfering it to the chalkboard. It was making an extremely annoying sound, but at least they were free to talk for a few minutes.

David leaned over to her and took a glance at the teacher to make sure she wasn't looking their way. The teacher was still looking at the paper as she copied it on the board. "Im from Seattle. But i grew up in Georgia." he said as he smiled a little. "So whats to do for fun around here?" he asked her.

"Oh... Seattle. Cool. I've never been to Georgia though." She made a note to remember that. "What's to do for fun?" She had no idea. She generally just went to school, went to dance practice, to Massie's friday night sleepovers, and to the mall. "Well, we've got some excelent resturaunts. And a mall, obviousley. Pretty much anything you want to do is only a few minutes car drive away. It just depends on what you're in to do."

"Yeah Gerogia was pretty cool. Tons of Barbecue." he looked back up to the teacher who was still copying the paper to the board. "Wow restaurants and a mall. Sounds like you got the whole package haha."

Alicia rolled her eyes. "There's more than that," she continued in the same hushed tone, "Much more. It just depends on what you like to do. There's loads to do, you just have to find it. Plus, it's not like your stuck in this town, you can go out of town if you need to. And once you find some people to hang out with it won't be as boring as you seem to currently think it is."
