Alicia walked into the starbucks, the instant scent of it all hitting her in the face. It was wonderful.... There was no better smell than Starbucks coffee... She walked up to the counter, ordered a caramel machiotto tall and waited for her order. She took the filled-to-the-brim cup from the woman behind the counter, payed for drink, and muttered, "keep the change". Walking over to the nearest table for two, she let out a sigh of relief. There was nothing like a little alone time to make her very happy, very relaxed. She sat down, putting her bag on the ground, amongst other shopping bags, and quietly sipped her machiotto, staring into space with a small smile on her face. She sat the cup down when it was halfway empty, and sighed again. Alicia wouldn't mind some company though. Preferably boys. It was her guilty pleasure. What could she say?

Alicia practically jumped out of her skin when she heard someone speaking to her, saying her name. She turned her head around like a whip, and looked up to see Josh Hotz. She wanted to sigh with relief and of course, happiness. It was always good to see him, she couldn't help but admit it. "Um, yeah. Sure. Of course." She said this all rather quickly, to quickly really, as she tried to remain calm and perfectly...well, perfect. Alicia twirled a lock of her long black hair around her finger, then let it twirl out on its own accord, repeating the action over and over again until she found something normal to say. She sat down her coffee that was nearly gone now sadly, and asked him, "What's up?" Yes, that seemed perfectly normal to her. Just relax. she told herself silently. It's not like you've never talked to a guy before. She sat up a little straighter, more confident now.

"Yeah, it's the same with me. Just school. And you know there's nothing interesting in school. The usual." She sipped her coffee for a while, glancing at him over the lip gloss covered brim of the cup. She took a long time to finish the cup, which had not been very full to begin with, but even so it was annoying when she finished it. What was she supposed to do now? This whole situation was ackward enough without having anything to hold or stir. Alicia cursed silently at herself for not ordered a bigger drink than a simple tall.

Hating that things were becoming so ackward between the two of them, Alicia sighed, and set down the empty cardboard cup. She sat up a little straighter, and leaned forward closer to him. "Well, I suppose this is hard enough. Might as well just get to the point, shall we?" She was surprised at her own boldness. This is something Massie would think to do. Hopefully she could pull of the boldness herself. "I want to..." Alright, this was it. "Go back to the way things were. Like they used to be with us." She prayed, hoped, dreamed, wished, and wanted, to not be turned down by him.

Alicia felt a wave of relief wash over her entire body. It was as though the wait for something absolutly, incontrovertibly wonderful had finally happened. And it had, of course. She and Josh were, there was really no other way to put it, "back together again". And there was nothing more that she wanted. She would never shop again, just as long as she could be with him. And have Massie shop for her of course. Alicia grinned, and pulled her chair over so that it was closer to his, but not annoyingly right next his so that they had to hurt their necks to even look each other in the face. "Good." She said, satisfactorily, still smiling. She had the sudden urge to reach out and snatch him, so that he could never slip away again. But instead of the "snatching", which would have been a bit strange, she put her arms around him in a tight hug. "So, then, that changes everything doesn't it? For the better, of course."

Alicia grinned again, glad he could not see her complete jubilation and utter glee that was bouncing around inside her, making her look like a complete idiot. She regained her composure just as he kissed her cheek. Oh my gawd... his lips were absolutley the most wonderful things that had ever been on earth. All soft and warm and perfect. She pulled away from him slowly then leaned in to kiss those perfect lips of his. Ah, this was it. This was it was like, the whole kissing thing. She wanted to do it more often if this one simple gesture made her feel like this. She could not wait to tell Massie, Dylan, Kristan, and even Claire. The pretty committee would be the first to know that she was kissing Josh Hotz. Alicia hoped she was doing it right, but then realized her arms were just hanging there. Not knowing what to do with them, she decided to let him decide what to do next. After all, she had started this whole thing. She just hoped he wouldn't stop it!

Alicia pulled away from him after a moment, even though the warmth of his arms so tightly around her made her feel fantastic. She felt... protected. It was a nice sort of feeling, of course. "Come on, Josh. Let's go. Let's get out of here. Go somewhere else. Be alone, maybe?" She was a bit weird when it came to being 'public", and she hoped Josh knew that she did want to keep kissing him, to continue being with him. She just still had that timidness, that naivness really, when it came to being so open in the public eye for everyone who wanted to, to see them. She stood, and took her empty coffee cup over to the trash bin. She let it fall to the bottom with a small "thump", then turned around again, hoping he'd come with her, her eyes just as hopeful and timid.
